When should I schedule a newborn session? Prebooking for your due date is best. We will adjust the date as needed as babies are unpredictable. Prebooking allows us to reserve a time frame before and after your due date to ensure we see a baby within the first 3 weeks after birth. Cindy has limited newborn session’s a month which allows her to give every client the best service. We recommend clients book early to reserve their session and avoid disappointment. Late bookings may be accommodated according to scheduling availability but not guaranteed.
How old should the baby be for the session? A newborn session can be seen as early as 7 days or as late as 5 weeks. Ideally, we want to capture newborns within the first 2 weeks of birth.
Do I need to provide anything for the session? No, parents may provide props if they wish. Many families include traditional or heirloom items for their session to be photographed with the baby.
Where will the session take place: Depending on parents' comfort, we can travel within the greater Sacramento area for a home newborn session or a session can be held in our home studio located in Antelope, CA.
How long is a newborn session: Newborn sessions are 2 hours. With Cindy’s experience and skill, she will guide parents with prepping for the session to ensure the best possible outcome, Babies are unpredictable, and fussy times can happen and we will work with the baby at that time to accommodate the baby’s needs.
Can siblings join? YES! And parents and family pets! We provide everything for the newborn and parents will need to provide outfits for the family.
How much is a newborn session? A non-refundable $300 retainer is due at the time of booking to secure your slot. Our newborn session fee is $850, this includes your 2-hour session and 25 Digital Images.
The traveling fee is an additional cost determined at the time of consultation.

Celebrate your baby's first year with an awesome CAKE SMASH! The session is fun for everyone! We love to see our newborns for their first birthday, ask us about our newborn and Cake smash package.
When should we book a cake smash session?
We recommend you book your cake smash session 3-4 weeks before babies birthday. This ensures you’ll have images of the baby on their first birthday.
Do you charge extra for twins?
We do not charge extra for twins. The session includes one cake but parents can pay for a second cake.
Planning your babies’ cake smash:
A cake smash session is 45 minutes and we provide everything except outfits.
The Set: We have the design available for you to select from, If you would like to customize a theme, let's chat! We do not provide props but parents are welcome to bring their own. The cake is included! We provide a 6-inch cake to match the set, if your baby has a food allergy we can have a vegan cake made.
What do we need to do prep for the session?
We provide everything for the set and parents only need to plan 2 outfits.
Can we take family portraits?
Yes! Please plan a nice family outfit.
How much is a cake smash session?
$650 - Cake smash sessions are all-inclusive- The session includes a set, cake, and 25 digital images.
*** Family portraits can be included for an additional $200 and include 4 additional digital images. ***
